Join us at the Fall Camporee: Scout Rendezvous; a high-energy weekend where patrols put their skills, teamwork, and Scout spirit to the test!
Compete in a series of hands-on stations designed to challenge your knowledge, sharpen your abilities, and push your limits.

Capital Area Night Hike 2026

The Capital Area District's almost world famous “Night Hike” will be open to registration in July. You won’t want to miss this amazing opportunity for your Scouts. You will show up, check-in, go through pack-check to make sure you are Prepared, eat a hot meal, and then your adventure begins.

Fox Island Tree Lighting Ceremony
Sunday, December 6, 2026
Join your Island neighbors and friends for a festive evening of fun! Sing carols around the bonfire provided by our Scouts, meet our tree lighter, visit with Santa Claus, and listen to the annual Christmas concert. Bring a few logs for our outdoor bonfire.
Scouts will arrive at 5:00 PM to build the bonfire, with caroling starting at 6:00 PM, followed by Santa's visit shortly thereafter.
This event will earn the Scouts 2 service project hours.

OMSI Submarine Sleepover & Urban Hike

Sleep in a REAL submarine! Submarine Camp-Ins are guaranteed to be a unique camping experience that's warm, safe, dry, and exciting—any time of year! OMSI's USS Blueback, a retired U.S. Navy submarine, is open for sleepovers!

Snow Tubing at Snoqualmie Pass

Snow Tubing at Snoqualmie Pass Tubing Area.
This is a family event and all are welcome. Fees to be determined. The fee only includes the tubing fee. Please plan to bring food/snacks.
It is recommended that you have warm weather resistant clothing, gloves, hats, goggles, extra warm clothes, and lots of energy.

Whitewater Rafting Trip

Full Day Whitewater rafting trip on the Wenatchee River, with Blue Sky Outfitters.
Price includes all meals, campground fees, rafting fees.

Staircase Campground Campout
Saturday, July 24, 2027 - Sunday, July 25, 2027
This is a one night campout located in the Staircase area of Olympic National Park near Lake Cushman.
The Scouts will have an opportunity to learn and practice outdoor skills, explore the wilderness of Olympic National Park, hike along the Skokomish River and Lake Cushman!
There are several short day-hikes that explore the area. Shady Lane trail is flat, and less than a mile to Lake Cushman. The hike to Flapjack Lakes is for the stronger hikers, gaining over 3,000 feet in elevation.

Canoe - Kayak Trip
Saturday, September 18, 2027 - Sunday, September 19, 2027
This will be a canoe and kayak day trip.
The plan is to canoe and kayak from the Sandspit near the Fox Island bridge up to Kopachuck State Park, have lunch, and then return to the Sandspit.

Mt. Rainier Snow Cave Campout
Saturday, November 20, 2027 - Sunday, November 21, 2027
Scouts will have an opportunity to construct a snow shelter and take a night's refuge protected from the Pacific Northwest weather!
This event is dependent on weather conditions as it is typical for a minimum of 8 feet of snow needed to build such a shelter.
The conditions now are showing promise for much snow this year! Location to be determined as the event nears.

Snowshoe Hike At Mt. Rainier

Ranger-Guided Snowshoe Walks
A park ranger will teach you the art of snowshoeing and help you discover how plants, animals, and people adapt to the challenging winter conditions at Mount Rainier.
Leaving the Harbor at 9:00 AM, then meet at the information desk in the Jackson Visitor Center at Paradise for a 1:00 PM reservation.
The walk will last about two hours. It covers one and three quarter miles of rolling terrain with spectacular views of the Nisqually Glacier, weather permitting.
