Fox Island Scout Troop 27 has an active outdoor program, and holds monthly camping trips and other outings. Find out what is happening this month on our High Adventure Events Calendar.
Renowned as a high-adventure Scout camp, Baldwin delivers extreme outdoor programs to Scouts in the scenic Mt. Hood National Forest.
Hidden among tall evergreen trees and surrounded by wildlife, Camp Baldwin offers horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, windsurfing, mountain boarding among other outdoor experiences.

Sleep in a REAL submarine! Submarine Camp-Ins are guaranteed to be a unique camping experience that's warm, safe, dry, and exciting—any time of year! OMSI's USS Blueback, a retired U.S. Navy submarine, is open for sleepovers!
Tentative dates will be in Fall, 2026, depending upon submarine availability and number of Scouts signed up.
Experience what it's like to live on a submarine, explore the torpedo room, peer through a periscope, and sleep in the crew's quarters. Learn about density and buoyancy as you explore how submarines are designed to dive and surface.

Overnight campout in Manchester State Park, in Port Orchard.
Manchester State Park is a year-round camping park with stunning views of the Puget Sound and an interesting military history, including the historic Torpedo Warehouse.
Activities include hiking, beach exploration, fishing and more.

Join your Island neighbors and friends for a festive evening of fun! Sing carols around the bonfire provided by our Scouts, meet our tree lighter, visit with Santa Claus, and listen to the annual Christmas concert. Bring a few logs for our outdoor bonfire.
Scouts will arrive at 5:00 PM to build the bonfire, with caroling starting at 6:00 PM, followed by Santa's visit shortly thereafter.
This event will earn the Scouts 2 service project hours.
